Student Internship Farm Assistant

Rijk Zwaan is looking for motivated students with a passion for agriculture!

As intern Farm Assistant, you will work in collaboration with the Farm Manager and Warehouse Manager in a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
General seed research activities, involving setting up and maintaining large general value trials. Mapping out, measuring, staking, cleaning, evaluating, cutting, transplanting, and providing feedback on all trials. Tractor driving, managing irrigation, spraying/hoeing weeds, and miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Farm or Warehouse Manager. The ideal candidate has an interest in working on an active research farm, and is able to collaborate with the team in all aspects of research and development.

Salary: $20 per hour
