UnitedAg Partners with Abundant Harvest, HMC Farms and Sun Valley Packing in Efforts to Provide More Innovative Health Care Solutions to Better Serve Farmworker Families in the City of Selma

UnitedAg, www.unitedag.org, a member-owned agricultural trade association representing more than 1,000 organizations, announced it is adding the fourteenth wellness center to its ever-growing network that serves California and Arizona farmworkers and their families. Together in partnership with three agricultural employers, the new wellness center will provide healthcare access to farmworkers and their families in the City of Selma.

These centers provide a range of services focused on the unique needs of the agricultural community – from acute and episodic care to health-risk and disease management to wellness and prevention. Emphasizing on short wait times and personalized care, these wellness centers also feature on-site lab services and many available on-site prescriptions.

“We’re excited to embark on a new venture that affords the opportunity to partner with agricultural employers who believe in providing quality healthcare solutions for our unique community,” said Kirti Mutatkar, CEO of UnitedAg.

To celebrate the addition of the new wellness center to its growing member network, UnitedAg will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday, December 11th, from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm at UnitedAg’s Health & Wellness Center in the City of Selma – 1235 Rose Avenue Selma, CA 93662. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the wellness center and meet the health providers and staff members. Appetizers, Refreshments and Giveaways will be available!
