FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR VOCATIONAL STUDIES

Exclusive to employees affiliated with active UnitedAg members (Regular or Associate level), the Vocational Scholarship offers financial support to members and employees seeking agriculture-specific education and training at certified vocational schools, trade schools or other institutions. Up to $30,000 in scholarship grants are available each year to eligible applicants The deadline to apply is December 31, 2023.

Eligibility FAQs

  1. Who is eligible to apply for AEF’s Vocational Scholarship program?
    All applicants must be affiliated with an active UnitedAg member company (Regular or Associate level) as an employee of that company.
  2. What do I need to become eligible for a scholarship award?
    To be eligible, all applicants are required to complete the online application and submit a one-page resume with portrait photo, two (2) letters of recommendation, and a video personal statement by the program deadline date.
  3. What are the requirements for my resume?
    You must submit a one-page resume and portrait photo. Your resume should include relevant work experience.
  4. How many letters of recommendation do I need to submit?
    All applications must submit two (2) letters of recommendation. Letters can be from your employer, supervisors, or other company management.
  5. What are the requirements for my video statement?
    Your video statement should not exceed three (3) minutes in length. Please upload it to a video sharing platform such as YouTube or Vimeo. Your video statement gives you the opportunity to tell us more about yourself, in your voice, beyond the information you provided in your application.
  6. When will the scholarships be awarded?
    Scholarships will be awarded in the spring of 2024.
