Christopher's Favorite Chili

Ingredients

2 – 40 oz. cans chili with beans
1 – 15 oz. can “hot” chili with beans
1 – 16 oz. jar salsa
1 bottle beer (optional)
20 cloves Christopher Ranch California Heirloom Garlic – peeled
2 lbs. “chili grind” hamburger
1 – 4.25 oz. jar Christopher Ranch Chopped Jalapeños or 4 oz. can of diced jalapeños
6 firm tomatoes – chopped
1 yellow onion – chopped
1 green bell pepper – chopped
3 – 15 oz. cans kidney beans – drained
2 – 6 oz. cans tomato sauce

The Method

Brown meat with 1/2 the whole garlic cloves in a large pot. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook for 2 hours. Refrigerate overnight if desired so flavors can blend and reheat for 1 hour before serving.
