UnitedAg Announces their 2020 Ambassador Award Recipients

Irvine, Calif., May 28, 2020 – UnitedAg today announces the Ambassador Award Recipients, and the embodiment of what it means to be an ambassador. UnitedAg's ambassador campaign is designed to foster community within its member companies as well as offer employees the opportunity to take a proactive role in their healthcare system. The campaign is designed to drive change to the current health benefit offerings through a series of health initiatives. Throughout the program, ambassadors receive development tools, get product tests and develop a network of like-minded people. This partnership opens-up the opportunity to create new product offerings while making a difference in their community.

Today, UnitedAg proudly recognizes three outstanding ambassadors for their successful health initiatives and campaigns in 2019:

  • Veronica Blanco, Innovative Produce – Ag Improvement Award
  • Tony Ramirez, Plantel Nurseries – Ag Innovator Award
  • Cristina Rocha, Nichols Farms – Ag Influencer Award

"UnitedAg has always been a catalyst for change. Our health campaigns and philanthropic initiatives embody our mission. The Ambassador program depicts the authenticity and boldness that UnitedAg stands for," said Kirti Mutatkar, President & CEO of UnitedAg. "I am extremely proud of the award recipients for their extraordinary contributions, but most important for their determination and attitude to drive change amongst their community."

UnitedAg is currently expanding the ambassador network and is seeking candidates. If your company is currently a member of UnitedAg and would like to nominate an ambassador, contact the program coordinator Christina Morley at cmorley@unitedag.org.
